![]() Bach Flower Essences Remedies are made by infusing whole blossoms of flowers in a
bowl of pure spring water and exposing it to the sun. A little brandy may be
added later as a preservative, but there is nothing harmful in these remedies. Although the 38 Bach Remedies are listed in the Homeopathic
Pharmacopoeia and classified as homeopathic medicines, they are both more
mysterious in their workings and, being non-toxic and without side effects,
safer. It is impossible to explain exactly how they work – Bach himself
resisted analysis of his remedies, maintaining they are “Gifts of God” which
should remain “free from science, free from theories, for everything in
Nature is simple.” (The Twelve Healers) Basically, the idea is that flower
essences can help to clear blockages between the Personality and the Higher
Self. The action is always gentle and strengthening. Today you have been given a Bach Flower Essence. Trust that some
part of your Self will be profoundly changed as a result of taking this
Flower Essence. At first it may seem subtle or vague, but ultimately it will
come to you that some need of yours has been met, you have a fresh clarity of
mind, and your horizons have been broadened. How to take your Bach Flower Remedy: Take it as often as needed, but at least four drops four times
daily. The best method is to put the drops under you tongue directly from the
dropper. Hold them in your mouth for a few seconds before swallowing, to gain
the full effect. Four drops can also be added to a glass of water and sipped
frequently. Please don’t eat, drink or smoke
anything for ten minutes before or after taking your remedy. Caution: Care should be taken that the dropper does not come in contact
with your tongue or lips, otherwise digestive enzymes may be transferred to
the mixture in the bottle. When you have taken all your remedy, return your empty bottle to
your therapist for recycling, or perhaps a refill, or a new remedy. Even if you’re taking your remedy on a
regular schedule, it’s acceptable to miss a dose. Bach
Flower Remedies are a supportive therapy, which can be taken either at
regular times or on an as-needed basis. Because they are non-toxic, Bach
Flower Remedies are safe and do not cause harmful side effects; they will not
be affected by prescription medication nor will they interact or interfere
with such medication. If you have any question about your remedy, please
phone your therapist. Bach Flower Essences will cause shifts in your body-mind-spirit.
Give yourself time to reflect, savor and treasure the change. |
